All true, but that just makes the app one of the million or so things available in our commercial market that would be rendered obsolete with just a bit more general education. I still don't find this to be particularly controversial or racist.

You are right...there are apps out there for people that have no common sense...I don't care what they develop; if people don't purchase them they will not be relevant...

All well and good, but why not do what she can to prevent herself from becoming Female Victim #16,001?

For the sake of argument, let’s say that I’m 20 times more likely to die in a traffic accident than in a house fire. Would you be advising me against installing smoke detectors in my home?

I'm not very optimistic about the future of education when legislators in Indiana and several other states are considering passing bills allowing creationism to be taught in schools.
